大学英语四级仔细阅读考前充电

　　看题干圈关键词的过程中，我们可以选择名词immigrants;动词 choose和 settle 大写专用名词U.S. 以及特殊动词形式 dreaming。那么我们回到原文不难定位到这样一句话：One of the most importantreasons so many people from all over the world come to live in the United States is the dreamof a better job. 仔细阅读后发现，题干中的immigrants在原文中已不见踪迹，被替换成了people from allover the world;动词 choose to settle被改为了come to live;甚至连大写专用名词U.S. 也被改成了United State，那么唯独一个比较明显的关键词只剩下特殊动词形式 dreaming，在原文中虽然是它的名词dream形式，但是确很容易识别。所以可见圈关键词时不要怕圈多。

　　一般来说正确答案是客观的表达，不要出现主观的陈述。正确答案一般表述留有余地不极端。比如，当选项中出现一些极端词时，我们就要慎选。这些词汇包括all;only;most等等。那么相反，如果选项中出现一些语义表达上留余地的词汇时，我上门时比较偏好这样的选项的。如果实在不知道选什么时，我们就去蒙这样的选项。这些词包括：may;might;possible;nearly;partly;almost等，历年出现这些词作为正确选项的不在少数。当然，做题时也不要极端，看见这些词的选项就选。正确答案最重要的一点时要做到含义与原文中对应的句子做到一致。四级阅读几乎没有出现过照抄原句的正确选项。正确答案往往喜欢采用同意替换的形式改写。这就进一步考察了考生对同义词的积累。例如2011年6月的一道四级阅读题目：根据关键词定位定到原文下面这句。

　　Kao said she cautions against forming any generalizations based on any one of the studies,noting that more background characteristics of the students need to be studied andexplained.

　　而正确答案A的是表述是：It is unscientific to make generalizations about it without furtherstudy.对比发现，原文中的cautions against“警惕不要做”=选项中unscientific“做某事是不科学的”原文中forming any generalizations“形成公理”=选项中make generalizations“形成公理”more backgroundcharacteristics of students need to be studied and explained“更多地学生背景特点需要被研究和解释”= further study“进一步研究”。
