On Campus Politics
Many college students show great enthusiasm in participating into campus political activities nowadays.For example, it，s not rare to see that many students for heads of the Students' Union or some student societies on campus. There is no doubt that campus politics has become an important part of college life.
The fact that college students can benefit a lot from participation in campus politic? contributes to this phenomenon. First of all, by attending campus political activities, students can develop personal critical capabilities，especially management and coordination capacity. Moreover, these activities provide students a stage to show themselves and bring their abilities into full play. Besides, campus political activities help strengthen students' sense of responsibility.
However, campus politics might bring some problems. For one thing, too much participation in campus politics might influence the academic study. For another, some students being keen on campus politics is only for fame and gain, which will do harm to their mental health. Therefore, schools and teachers should give necessary instructions to students on their participation into campus politics.

The Importance of Waste Sorting
Currently,news has it that some major cities in China are setting about pushing “waste sorting”,with the purpose of both reforming the traditional waste treatment and improving this fragile environment we live in.What an encouraging change!
Compared with the traditional way of collecting waste,the new method has brought with it a variety of benefits.First and foremost,wastes are sent to different factories according to their classification rather than landfills,where they would be simply burnt and buried.What’s more,waste classification not only cuts the spending on treating waste,but generates some handsome interest.Recyclable wastes,such as paper,glass and plastic, can be reused after being processed in related factories,while other wastes can be turned into the valuable.In a word,waste classification is both vital and necessary to environmental protection as well as our life.
From my perspective,waste classification should be further promoted as an effective means of environmental protection.As college students, we are supposed to comply withrelevant regulations,sorting wastes before we dispose them.Meanwhile,it would be rather beneficial if we could influence as more people around us as possible.

The Damage of E-waste.
Electronic waste,or e-waste, has become an issue of serious concern to the public as a growing number of electronic items are discarded in landfills every year.Many consumers are not aware that electronics like computers and cell phones actually contain toxins that can leach out into the soil and damage the environment.
E-waste compounds pose hazards to the environment as well as the human beings.To start with, when exposed to heat,the components of e-waste release toxic fumes and gas,polluting the air and causing global environmental problems.When circuit breakers deteriorate,they release toxins, such as mercury,that pollute groundwater.In addition to its damaging effect on the environment,researchers have now linked e-waste to adverse effects on human health.
In my view,it’s high time that the damage of e-wasted should be realized by the public and measures should be taken to cope with this issue.One idea is to put greater responsibility on the companies that produce the goods.It should be mandatory for them to taking the abandoned items back and dispose them in an environmentally-friendly manner.
